Alila Villas Soori Spa

With some delay, due to rushing into deadline of Endless´s big sister of a magazine “I LOVE YOU”, we are now back again with the final days of our Indonesia trip.
As weather in europe getting nasty, we can now delight you with some more wellness experiences in the tropics, followed by more amazing luxury amongst almost sacral modern architecture. But first back to Alila Villas Soori and its amazing new Spa facilities introducing: the Vichy Shower....



Yes we did test it, but are sparing you our naked appearance in there…thus, a detailed report from Ms Trip:

As mentioned before I don´t like massages at all. But as we were invited for a couple treatment and I am a very polite and curious person so I gave my self a kick in the butt and joined in. It was very funny. The two girls treating us spoke simultaneously and in stereo, like a synchronized swimming couple and after a some of minutes I relaxed and let her punch my body. What was strange and i forgot to ask afterwards: Before starting with the face massage the two girls disapeared and returned in a good synchronized swimming manner simultaneously each of them wearing a mask over their mouth. I have no clue why they have to wear a mask for doing the face massage?

But the real fun started in the slaughterhouse. Sorry just kidding I mean the scrubbing room. We would lie on a metal bier and the girls would do their choreography and rub a black peeling scrub all over our body and then wrap us in white sheets. Then they would start the 10 sprinklers hanging right above your body one after another to shower off the scrubs. I guess we have been the first ones doing this as the girls been a little insecure by adjusting the temperature of the sprinklers or maybe they did it on purpose but we all had to laugh about the cold splashes flushing our bodies.

10 points to the girls, it was the first time I enjoyed it.
