Titus Canyon

Titus Canyon is a deep, narrow gorge cut into the steep face of the Grapevine Mountains to the east of Death Valley in the Mojave Desert of southeastern California. The canyon features limestone rock formations, petroglyphs, and wildlife of various kinds.

The excursion turned almost into a day trip and included a ghost town, encounters with off road equipped travellers on two and four wheels and quite some steep and deep gorges at the end of the passage. On the last lap you are heading through a dry channel in a quite narrow canyon - driving back into death valley.
